UnMinted Starter Dies make it quick and easy to get an even initial fold. Just punch your coin, deburr, anneal, drop it into the starter die, and use your folding cone for your initial fold – while protecting the details on your coin. After initial fold, you’re ready to switch over to using your steel dies for the rest of the process.

The dies are designed with the same outside diameter as the steel dies you’re already using, so they’ll fit into the risers you already have.

Please double-check your coin dimensions prior to ordering. The die will be custom made to order (0.18mm will then be added to your entered diameter for clearance). Inaccurate dimensions will make your die not usable. Any questions, please let me know.
