The Eisenhower Dollar coin was designed by Frank Gasparro and was minted in the US from 1971 through 1978. The design features a bust of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, “LIBERTY”, “In God We Trust” and the date on the obverse. The reverse features the majestic bald eagle inspired by the 1969 Apollo 11 moon mission, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “E Pluribus Unum”, and “ONE DOLLAR”.
Minted at 1.5″ diameter, these coins make perfect 45 record adapters – they are handcrafted, and individually unique.
