The UnMinted “Ring Reeder” Die is a custom designed die for adding a consistent reeded edge to your rings and coin rings.

Start by placing your finished ring onto the center of the UnMinted Ring Reeder Die, place it on your press being carful to not allow the coin ring to shift, and give it about 1-2 tons of pressure on your press (your mileage may vary) to transfer the reed pattern into your ring.

The Ring Reeder Die features 120 precision CNC’d reed edges (same as a US Quarter) and an optional 3D printed base (to make it easier to handle and find on your bench).

IMPORTANT: It’s important that your die is placed on a flat / level surface at all times during use in order to avoid slipping – please wear safety glasses.

– This product assumes you have tools and ability to make coin rings, and a 1T arbor press (or greater).
– Not intended to be used with steel or high nickel content coins or rings – it may damage the die.
